August 8th 2020 - As our beloved 47ft Viking has undergone a complete rebuild of her main engines we have not stopped deep sea fishing. In fact, we have been super busy with deep sea trips this summer and the fishing has been great!
Our second deep sea fishing boat is a 36ft Yellowfin center console that has three monster Mercury outboards. Her name is the "Too Intense" She has been handling our schedule of deep sea fishing charters daily while or Viking gets her new shoes.
Note.. Our Viking 47 "In XS) is going on her sea trial today to make sure all systems are A-Ok..
Fishing Report
The dolphin fishing has been really good this last week. Capt. Rob has been running the "Too Intense" daily and gotten into some nice dolphin on a regular basis without having to run all the way to Cuba. Just kidding, we dont actually go to Cuba but it sure seems like it when the fish are way out. The bite has been very consistent. We troll allot and look for larger fish unless, of course, we have a piece of debris or a very focused bird.
Fishing Forecast
Now that we have both the "In XS" and The "Too Intense" on line for deep sea fishing charters we are looking forward to the darker nights with this moon phase coming up. When the dolphin have a hard time seeing at night they wake up the next morning hungry and ready to eat. This will offer our anglers a great shot at filling the box with some tasty dolphin filets.

The comfort and speed of our Viking 47 convertible is amazing, while we understand she is not in everyones budget for a Key West fishing charter she is worth her fare. Lots to be said for Air Conditioning, full enclosed bathrooms, full kitchen and salon.
